Learn to make your own skateboard
I offer skateboard workshops at Big Aye Skateboards HQ in Leytonstone, East London. You’ll learn first-hand every step of the skateboard making process.
This class will be 1 on 1 in my workshop, spending 3 hours making your own bespoke skateboard, for you to take home at the end of the day..
The workshop will cover all the steps of creating a skateboard!
You will be:
- Gluing the 7 layers of Canadian Maple Ply
- Pressing the glued layers in a hydraulic press
- Cutting out your custom shape
- Carving the deck
- Drilling truck holes
- Engraving artwork (if you have a design you would like to use for your skateboard, please email in advance)
- Varnishing the deck
Once all is complete you can take home the board YOU made and put it to good use!
